Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use GameMastered. By signing in you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. GameMastered is run by Yousef Hesham.

Not affiliated with Valve

GameMastered is an independent fan project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Data from Steam is provided by the Steam Web API. Game names, artwork and achievements belong to their owners.

Your account

You must be 16 or older to use GameMastered. You sign in with your own Steam account. You are responsible for what happens when you’re signed in, so sign out on shared devices. You can only change your own data. Your profile is public: anyone can see it, and search engines can list it (the Privacy Policy lists what it shows).

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• try to access another person’s account or data;
• overload the service, get around its import limits, or use scripts or bots to use it;
• probe, scan or attack the service, except by reporting a problem to us;
• copy, resell or republish the service or the Steam data it shows;
• put anything offensive or unlawful in your hunt plans, or show it on your public profile through your Steam name or picture.

Supporting GameMastered

Support through Patreon is voluntary, not a purchase. Supporter perks are a thank-you and may change, and they have no cash value. Patreon handles payments, cancellations and refunds under its own terms; for anything else, email us.

No warranty

GameMastered is provided free and “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always work, be error-free or match Steam exactly. Steam is the source of truth for your games and achievements. XP, levels and badges are for fun and have no value. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss from using or not being able to use the service.

The service may change

We may add, change or remove features, limit imports, or stop the service. Steam can also change or withdraw the data we rely on.

Leaving and account removal

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account, and download your data first from Account → Your data. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the “Last updated” date, and any significant change will be noted at the top of this page. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
